The purpose of this study is to understand the competence and satisfaction of the talents required by the hotel industry and to provide basic data on the training of hoteliers based on the National Competency Standards (NCS). Luxury hotels and business class hotels were selected and a total of 215 copies of the questionnaire were distributed to each hotels which took part of empirical study. SPSS 15.0 was utilized for the empirical analysis. The specific findings are as follows; Firstly, the results showed the analysis for credibility and validity carry out by the research unit were secure. Secondly, it has been proved that service and attitude of the employees are valued firstly in the hotel enterprise field. Thirdly, it is expected that an improvement could be seen if there was an increase on employees salary which as a result would provide a grater job satisfaction by the hotelier. These results indicate the development factors required in the hotel industry in the long run. In the future, it is necessary to continuously carry out a practical study when conducting future research.
