템플스테이 TV 다큐멘터리 서사구조 분석 - 관광 진정성 경험을 중심으로 -
A Study on the Existential Authenticity of Temple Stay Experience through TV Documentary’s Narrative Structure Analysis

The purpose of this study was to examine the existential authenticity incorporated into an authentic-seeking journey during Temple Stay by narrative analyzing the TV documentary "Kang Sinju's Liberation Project - Part 3". To achieve the purpose of study, as followed by narrative structure analysis, the content of the narrative and the structure of the scenes were analyzed in the first step. Second, applying the theory of binomial confrontation by Saussure, the documentary narrative was divided into ‘signifier’ and ‘signified’ and then analyzed. The signifier refers to the sound of the word, and the signified means the content of the word. Finally, the integration process by applying the Gremas semiotics was processed. As a result, 24 sequences were derived by grasping the description and image structure, and 10 binomial confrontation terms were extracted. Also, 'Dailyness' and 'Authenticity' derived as the meta-languages of the experiences of participants who visited the Temple Stay through the TV documentary.
