초록

이 글은 전통 형이상학과 근대의 인식이론을 해체하고 새롭게 존재물음을 탐구하는 하이데거 철학의 고유함을 드러내기 위해 그의 정신적 토양이 되고 있는 철학적 신비주의를 다룬다. 철학적 신비주의는 모든 경험과 사유의 근본토대가 되는 근원적인 삶의 의미와 그와 연관된 초월적 경험을 해석하는 시도로서 비판적 자기성찰과 원초적 세계이해를 해명하는 수행방식이다. 초기 하이데거의 철학에서 탐구되고 있는 철학적 신비주의는 종교적 차원에 머물러 있는 것이 아니라 근원적 삶의 의미에 대한 선 이론적 이해를 가능하게 하는 방법적 의식을 제시하고 있으며, 삶의 본래성을 회복하기 위한 각성의 계기를 제시하는 변형철학의 형태를 가진다. 철학적 신비주의를 통해 드러난 삶의 현사실성에 대한 이해는 전기 하이데거의 사유에서 존재 일반의 의미를 탐구하려는 실존론적 분석의 주요개념들로 발전한다. 또한 하이데거의 철학적 신비주의는 그의 후기 사유에서 기술적 세계에서 위협받지 않고 존속할 수 있는 새로운 근거와 토양을 예시하는 시대 비판적 성찰을 담고 있다. 여기에서는 한편으로는 하이데거의 철학적 신비주의의 토대가 되고 있는 개별자에 대한 스코투스의 교설, 에크하르트의 신비주의 사상의 핵심이 되는 초연함, 초탈성, 내맡김의 개념, 이를 계승한 빅토르-학파의 변형철학, 베르나르와 테레사의 신비주의에 나타난 삶의 현사실성과 역사성의 관계가 다루어지며, 다른 한편으로는 종교철학 비판과 연관하여 오토의 “성스러움”, 슐라이어마허의 “의존적 감정”, 트뢸취의 종교의 탈역사화가 논쟁의 주제로 제시된다. 나아가 그러한 비판에 상응하여 하이데거의 철학적 신비주의가 본격적으로 발휘된 바울 서신의 현상학적 해석과 아우구스티누스와 루터의 신학에 대한 실존론적 해석이 반영될 것이다.

Abstract

This article deals with M. Heidegger's Philosophical Mysticism that has become his spiritual soil, in order to reveal the uniqueness of his philosophy overcoming the traditional metaphysics and modern epistemological discourse by exploring new questions of the Being. Philosophical mysticism is understood as a disciplining way to interpret critical self-reflection and the primitive world by understanding the fundamental meaning of life and its transcendental comprehension as the foundation of all experiences and thoughts. In the philosophy of early Heidegger the philosophical mysticism presents a methodical consciousness which enables a prior theoretical understanding of the meaning of the underlying life, rather than staying at the religious dimension, and gives the motives of the transformative philosophy changing a life. The understanding of the fact of life revealed through philosophical mysticism develops into the main concepts of existential analysis to explore the meaning of the Being in the thought of early Heidegger. The philosophical mysticism of Heidegger also contains critical reflections of the technological world in his later thoughts. For this discussion the following topics for the foundation of Heidgger's philosophical mysticism will be addressed: Scotus' teaching of individuals; Eckhard's concept of 'Gelassenheit', 'Abgeschiedenheit', 'Hingabe'; Victor-school's transformative philosophy; and the mysticism of St. Bernard and St. Theresa that present the historical fact of life in mysticism. Moreover in relation to the critique of the philosophy of religion, Otto's "das Heilige", Schleiermacher's "dependent feeling", and Troeltsch's historical Attitude for religion are presented as the subject of controversy. As the response to such criticism the phenomenological interpretation of Paul's correspondence and the existential interpretation of Augustine's and Luther's theology will be discussed in Heidegger's philosophical mysticism.
