초록

This study examines how elderly tourists accept and use smart tourism technologies (STTs) in local destinations by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). A survey was conducted with 319 seniors aged 60 or above who had visited domestic destinations within the past year and had experience using STTs. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and SmartPLS 4.0, employing exploratory factor analysis and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that perceived ease of use positively influences perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness strongly affects attitude toward using STTs. Attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control significantly affect intention to use, while intention to use and perceived behavioral control positively influence behavioral intention. These findings suggest that elderly tourists’ acceptance of STTs is shaped not only by cognitive evaluations but also by social influence and self-efficacy. Based on the results, the study provides practical implications for senior- friendly interface design, digital competence support, and user-centered smart tourism policies.
