본 연구는 『주역』의 관점에서 여성 스포츠와 젠더 문제를 탐구하려는 시도이다. 특히, 소옹의 『주역』 해석을 통해 전통적 남녀 구분을 넘어서는 새로운 인식의 틀을 제안 하려 한다. 이는 생물학적 성에만 의존하는 기존의 스포츠 분류 체계를 비판하고, 젠더를 하나의 인간 범주로 허용하는 논리적 토대를 마련하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구는 『주역』의 내상(內象)과 내수(內數), 외상(外象)과 외수(外數)를 바탕으로 인식 경계의 전환을 논의한다. 이러한 관점은 트랜스젠더를 포함한 다양한 젠더 정체성을 수용하는 데 중요한 시사점을 제공한다. 연구 결과, 전통적 남녀 구분을 넘어서는 인식 전환이 스포츠 분야에서의 젠더 차별을 줄이고, 포용적인 환경을 조성하는 데 기여할 수 있음을 발견하였다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 소옹의 철학적 사유를 활용하여 여성 스포츠와 젠더 문제의 해결을 위한 새로운 접근법을 제안하며, 이는 스포츠 분야에서의 평등과 인권 향상에 중요한 참조를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대해 본다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore the issues of women's sports and gender from the perspective of Eastern and Western philosophy. In particular, it proposes a new framework of understanding that transcends traditional gender distinctions through the interpretation of the I-Ching by Shao Yong. The objective is to critique the existing sports classification system that relies solely on biological sex and to establish a logical foundation that recognizes gender as a legitimate human category. The research discusses the transformation of cognitive boundaries based on the concepts of Neixiang (內象) and Neishu (內數), Waixiang (外象) and Waishu (外數) from the I-Ching. This perspective offers significant insights into accommodating diverse gender identities, including transgender individuals. The study finds that transcending traditional gender distinctions can reduce gender discrimination in the sports field and contribute to creating an inclusive environment. In conclusion, this study proposes a new approach to resolving issues in women's sports and gender by utilizing Shao Yong's philosophical thought. It is expected that this approach will make a significant contribution to promoting equality and human rights in the sports sector.
