한자문화권의 사유방식과 미학적 세계관은 현대문명의 질곡을 해결할 지혜의 단서를 제공한다. 중국철학은 중심과 주변을 가르는 이분법적 세계관을 거부한다. 자연은근본적으로 일원적으로 운행하는 역동적 변화 과정이다. 그러므로 만물은 존재론적으로 평등하다. 자연의 운행은 일정한 조화와 균형은 유지하고 있다. 만물은 고정불변의 본질이 없으므로, 항상 타자와 관계를 맺으며 변화를 지속하는 운동상태이다. 인류 사회의 기초 질서를 유지하는 윤리 규범도 자연의 법칙과 존재론적으로 일치한다. 가치지향적인 유가의 인의예지와 가치중립적인 도가의 무위자연은 내용적 특성이 조금 다르지만 모두 자연의 법칙에서 도출된 행위 규범들이다. 인간의 삶을 아름답게 고양시키는 중요한 방식이 예술이다. 예술은 자연의 법칙인 조화와 균형을 표현하기 위하여 은유적 언어를 사용한다. 한자의 은유적 특성은 이러한 모습을 표현하기에 적합하게 진화한 것이다. 그러므로 한자의 미학적 언어 구조는 저절로 만물 동일체의 자연관을 반영하게 된다. 그래서 미학적 사유는 세계와 인간을 이해하는 세계관의 연속으로 작동한다. 4차산업혁명 시대의 바람직한 철학적·미학적 삶은 기술문명의 급속한 발전에 대한 성찰에서 시작된다. 인공지능이 인간 노동과 삶의 편의를 위해 기능하는 시대에도인간성을 확장하고 소외감을 극복하는 것이 중요하다. 이는 상관적 사고방식에 기반한 생태미학적 세계관을 공유하면서, 인류의 미적 감성을 함양함으로써 달성할 수 있다. 생태미학적 문명의 구축은 조화와 균형을 추구하는 중국의 미학적 지혜에서 실현의 지혜를 얻을 수 있다.
Abstract
Chinese philosophy denies the fixed and unchanging reality. Everything that exists is a temporary state in a process of always changing. It is a dynamic movement in which the entire universe is made up of a single fluid entity. All things are fundamentally equal and always change. The best way to express objects without fixed essence is metaphorical description. Metaphorism is vague and ambiguous, but richly expressive. Natural objects exist in harmony with subtle equilibrium. Chinese art strives to express the rhythm, dynamic balance, and harmony of cosmic nature. A desirable philosophical and aesthetic life in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution begins with reflection on the rapid development of technological civilization. Even in an era when AI functions as an alternative to human labor and convenience in life, it is important to expand humanity and overcome alienation. This can be accomplished by cultivating the aesthetic sensibility of mankind while sharing a worldview of life based solely on a correlated way of thinking. Ecological-aesthetic civilization is a world in which China’s aesthetic wisdom meets the dynamic development of civilization in harmony and balance.
