의상(意象)론에 기초한 동아시아 문인예술의 생태미학 원리 연구

Abstract

This paper is the result of studying the ecological aesthetics principle of East Asian literary art based on the traditional Yixiang(意象: a phenomenon of mind based on good nature) theory. Anthropocene , which pointed out modern industrial problems as a direct cause of the global environmental crisis, urged a change in lifestyle habits aimed at harmony with space and nature beyond the human community. In this regard, East Asian literary art deserves to be referred to as a new form of life of the human community in that it discusses human-centered ecological values on the premise of complete unification of the earth and humans. The pandemic, which arrived in 2019, revealed the grim future of the human community, and inevitable control was imposed on individual lives for everyone’s survival. For this reason, research on the ecological form of life was required. In relation to the global environmental crisis, attempting critical reflection on one’s own life and systematically thinking about the form of life to develop in the future are the most essential tasks given to us now. For this reason, this paper attempts to describe the ecological aesthetics principle of literary art based on ‘Yixiang theory’ in three aspects. First, the principle of ‘Yixiang’ is discussed as a complete unification theory that considers the universe and the human world, and then Based on the Medicine of Harmony and Balance in East Asia, an artistic discussion is developed in terms of ‘ecological ontology’, and finally, based on two aspects, we discuss the principle of literary art that leads to acceptance by operating the energy of one’s life in an ecological form that responds to the global environmental crisis. ‘Yixiang’ was originally formed as a theory of cognition based on Confucianism’s theory of human good natuture and the theory of the universe of vaporization and Medicine of Harmony and Balance in East Asia, and its application has since expanded to poetry and painting, calligraphy and embossing, sculpture and architecture. ‘Yixiang’ was not originally a theory confined to one field. Therefore, the study of modern ‘Yixiang’ cannot be confined to one field. Research that discusses humanity’s new form of life based on ‘the theory of Yixiang’ should begin with re-establishing the traditional Yixiang theory into a new modern theory by absorbing various modern research achievements centered on the ‘philosophical academic’ and ‘art academic’. Furthermore, the interest and participation of the ‘educational academic’ is essential more than anyone else, and more than any other field, as the fundamental reason for suggesting such research is to create a better future.
