초록

Acetabular reamers used in total hip arthroplasty serve to remove the damaged acetabular. The processing performance of the reamer needs to be improved so that the artificial joint can be properly mounted on the surgical site. In this study, reaming simulations and experiments were conducted to improve the machining performance of the reamer. It is possible to shorten the prototype production period through the precision casting method by applying the 3D printing technique. As a result, various prototypes could be produced in a short period according to the size change of the reamer, significantly contributing to the improvement of the processing performance of the reamer.
