초록
Abstract : This study aimed to optimize the production of mycelia and Exo-biopolymer from the Cordyceps militaris strain using fed-batch culture, focusing on glucose concentration changes and reactor characteristics. Continuous substrate supply during the experiment led to increased mycelial growth and Exo-biopolymer production over time. At the end of fermentation, the maximum mycelial mass and Exo-biopolymer production reached 14.08 g/L and 5.43 g/L, respectively. When dissolved oxygen (DO) levels were low, the glucose feed rate was increased to support growth. In the stirred tank reactor, the maximum cell mass was 16.79 g/L, with Exo-biopolymer production of 5.65 g/L and a productivity rate of 0.94 g/L/day. Meanwhile, in the bubble column reactor, the maximum cell mass was higher at 18.08 g/L, although Exo-biopolymer production was slightly lower at 5.03 g/L, with a productivity rate of 0.84 g/L/day.
