본 연구의 목적은 골프수요모형을 추정하기 위해 모형의 이론적인 설정과 모형을 통한 수요결정요인을 추정하는 것이다. 분석을 위해 절삭된 포아송모형(truncated Poisson)과 절삭된 음이항모형(truncated negative binomial)을 적용하였다. 절삭된 포아송모형이 과도분산을 보임에 따라 절삭된 음이항모형을 적용하여 수요결정요인을 추정하였다. 골프 수요모형을 효과적으로 설명하기 위해 표본의 사회경제적 특성변수와 골프특성을 독립변수로 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 골프 수요모형에 영향을 주는 변수는 사회경제적 특성 변수와 골프이용형태에 따라 유의한 영향관계가 도출되었다. 이러한 분석결과는 소비자의 특성을 이해할 수 있는 데이터베이스가 될 수 있으며 이를 통해 보다 차별화된 마케팅전략을 강구할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to set the theoretical background and to estimate the determinants of golf demand. For this study, the determinants of demand, a truncated Poisson and a truncated negative binomial distribution model were applied. A test of whether the truncated negative binomial distribution model reduces to the truncated Poisson count model was applied using an overdispersion test. To explain the determinants on demand effectively, independent variables including socioeconomic characteristics and golf characteristics were taken into account. The author found that socioeconomic and golf characteristics variables such as age, income are positively related to the golf demand model. Ultimately, the estimated survey would be used as an information database to develop a marketing strategy for district golf management.
