관기제도(官妓制度) 해체 이후 기성권번(箕城券番)의 등장 과정 고찰

The gwan-gi constituted one of the mainstays of transmitting Korean traditional dance. Due to the flood of entertaining culture, the boundary between the gwan-gi and gisaeng was collapsed, so performing arts of the former became absorbing the entertaining culture of the latter. This article deals largely with three aspects: (i) the background and surrounding environment that the gwan-gi became to be included in a category of the gisaeng (ii) the contents of their learning and transmitting the performing arts, in the gweonbeon, having overcome their depromoted social status; and (iii) most importantly, this article reveals some new findings which have not been known to the traditional performing arts world.
