초록
“Feminine Writing (Écriture Féminine)” allows females to find their own voice so that the female sensation and experience, which got lost and became objectified in the existing male discourses, can be articulated and spoken with subjectivity. Regarding that feminine writing means making visible the female body and experience, dance as an art of the body can be considered as a proper locus for feminine writing. Nevertheless, dance works have been insufficiently elucidated in terms of feminine writing, which shows that feminist discourses in dance need to be more diversified. Therefore, this research set up the following two objectives and was conducted. First, it explored feminine writing as a theoretical framework for analyzing feminist dance works that abolish the phallocen- tric logic and create a new language and form. Moreover, it selected three dance works Mette Ingvartsen’s 69 Positions (2014), Yeong Ran Suh's The Death of Vagina: Mythmaking Voice (2022), Youngjoo Cho's Writing My Body (2019) and Feathers on Lips (2020). It also analyzed their choreo- graphic structure and materials based upon french feminist theorists.
