Abstract

This study explores the potential of eco-friendly artistic creation through contemporary dance, grounded in the core values of Industry 5.0: human-centricity, resilience, and sustainability. Using the dance film Our Skin as a case study, a practice-based research methodology was applied to analyze the specific processes of implementing low-carbon production principles and eco-friendly strategies. The work restores the sensory con nection between humans and nature through the motif of ‘skin,’ while ex panding ecological sensibility via bodily movement. Furthermore, Industry 5.0 serves as the primary theoretical framework, complemented by Freeman’s stakeholder theory, to demonstrate how collaboration among artists, audiences, and local communities contributes to a sustain able artistic ecosystem. The study confirms that contemporary dance can serve as a model for ethical and sustainable artistic practice at the inter section of technology, society, and the environment.
