Abstract
This study analyzes the structure of performativity in participatory non-danse performances, focusing on Xavier Le Roy's Retrospective and Boris Charmatz's Expo Zéro. Drawing on Erika Fischer-Lichte's theory of performativity, the research employs the analytical framework of the "feedback loop," "deconstruction of representation," and "community" to explore real-time interaction between performers and audiences, relation- ality of bodies on stage, and the formation of sensory communities. The analysis reveals that both works reconceptualize "choreography" not as a fixed form but as a relational and process-oriented notion. They suggest the potential for dance to expand beyond artistic expression into a site of social communication and engagement. Furthermore, partic- ipatory dance performances propose new forms of artistic experience grounded in performativity, challenging the institutional framework of traditional theater. This research theoretically illuminates the inter- section of performativity and non-danse in contemporary dance discourse, offering new directions for dance as a practical art and suggesting a shift in the concept of choreography.
