본 연구는 실용무용 전공자의 현대무용 수업의 만족도가 향후 진로 교육에 미치는잠재적 영향을 살펴보는 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울, 경기, 충남지역에소재한 대학에서 현대무용 수업에 참여한 실용무용전공 대학생을 대상으로 편의표집방법(convenience sampling method)을 이용하여 총 357명의 표본을 표집하여 진행하여 분석에 활용하였다. 영향을 미치는 요소로 무용에 대한 자신감, 열의감, 교육적, 심리적, 신체적 만족도와 향후 진로교육에 유의미한 영향이 미치는지를 분석하였다. 분석한 결과 위 나열한 요소에 모두 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며향후 현대무용 수업을 진행하는데 실용무용 전공자들의 현대무용 수업 커리큘럼을구성하는데 있어 긍정적 태도를 도출할 수 있도록 실증적 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the potential impact of practical dance majors’ satisfaction with contemporary dance classes on their future ca reer education. The participants of this study were 357 college students majoring in practical dance who attended contemporary dance classes at universities located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungnam provinces. They were selected using a convenience sampling method. The study analyzed whether factors such as confidence in dance, enthusiasm, and educa tional, psychological, and physical satisfaction had significant effects on future career education. The results showed that all of the afore mentioned factors had significant influences. Therefore, it is expected that these findings can serve as empirical data to help design con temporary dance curricula for practical dance majors in a way that fos ters positive attitudes toward contemporary dance classes in the future.
