초록
본 연구에서는 캐나다 오일샌드 저류층에서 SAGD(Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage) 공법 수행 시 FCD(Flow Control Device)의 작동 원리를 분석하고 저류층 생산 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 효과를 확인하였다.
Abstract
In this study, the operating principle of a flow control device (FCD) was analyzed when the steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) method was performed in an oil sand reservoir. The effect of the FCD on SAGD was confirmed via a simulation of the reservoir production. The FCD induces an additional pressure drop when the fluid passes through it, creating a uniform flow distribution along the well and improving the production efficiency. The mechanisms, advantages and, disadvantages of each type of FCD were analyzed. The simulation results showed that when the FCD was applied to the horizontal production well the cumulative oil production increased by about 9% and the cumulative steam oil ratio (cSOR) decreased by about 17%, confirming the improvement in the efficiency of the SAGD. In addition, the possibilities for the field application of FCD was suggested by analyzing the effect of the FCD installation section and time.
