본고에서는 예비교사들의 미래 사이버 교수-학습 환경에서 필요한 교수학적 지식을 함양할 것으로 목적으로, 교원양성교육 단계에서 효율적인 웹기반 교수-학습을 체험하는 것이 필요하다고 가정하였다. 본 연구에서는 현재 많은 대학 수업에 병행되어 사용되고 있는 웹기반 교수-학습의 양상을 살펴보고, 효율적인 웹기반 교수-학습 운영 방안을 다음과 같이 탐색하였다. 첫째, 웹기반 교수-학습에서 교수학적 지식에 관한 이론을 고찰하고, 현재 교원양성 교육과정에서 운영되고 있는 웹기반 교수-학습의 양상과 문제점을 살펴본다. 둘째, 교원양성 프로그램에서 전통적인 교실과 사이버교실을 병행하여 운영하는 두 교수자의 교과목 운영사례를 분석한다. 셋째, 두 교수자의 웹기반 교수-학습 사례분석을 토대로 현존하는 웹기반 교수-학습의 문제점들의 개선방향을 탐색하고, 나아가 효율적인 웹기반 교수-학습 모형 사례를 제시한다. 넷째, 제안된 웹기반 교수-학습 모형이 예비교사들로 하여금 미래교육 현장에서 학생들의 학습을 극대화할 수 있는 하나의 방안으로 참조하기를 기대하며 시사점을 찾아보았다.
Abstract
The rapid developments in both the availability and the acceptance of Internet as an ordinary tool for everyday life have made the Web an important resource necessary for education. College students today in Korea are generally comfortable with using and learning of new technologies. The widespread internet access throughout Korea has also made it easy for most students to have a stable, high speed internet connection from anywhere in Korea. Clearly, It is the right time for educators to take full advantage of the current state of technology and apply it to education for maximum benefit. In this study, a Web-based learning system available for all instructors at A University A called the Cyber Campus A, is described for its ease setup and use. While using Web-based learning system provides flexibility for both students and teachers in today's fast paced society, it does not guarantee that effective learning can take place. In fact, the effectiveness of Web-based learning may be more dependent on the individual teacher than traditional classroom teaching. In order to better understand the difference between effective and less effective Web based teaching, two instructors with opposite experiences in Web-based teaching and learning are described and analyzed. The principles of pedagogy and administrative factors that influenced the two very different experiences of Web-based instructors are compared to point out the important factors that need to be considered for the new instruction medium. The Web-based instruction has deminstrated the potential to be a truly flexible and an effective teaching medium. Nevertheless, extra effort ofteacher in both preparing and executing the instruction may be an obstacle for most teachers.
