이 연구는 단위 학교의 개선은 학교의 현재 상황에 대한 체계적인 진단과 이에 터한 개선 전략이 수립될 때 보다 효과적일 수 있다는 판단 아래, 교사를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 학교 조직을 진단 할 수 있는 진단 도구를 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 조직개발 분야에서 활용되고 있는 조직진단 모형과 학교평가 모형에 관한 선행 연구를 분석하고, 전문가 협의회를 통해 학교조직 진단 모형과 지표를 개발하였다. 개발된 진단 도구는 박사학위를 소지한 현직 교원, 대학교수, 국책연구기관 연구원으로부터 내용 타당성 검토를 실시하였으며, 현직 교원을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 통해 문항의 평균, 표준편차, 왜도, 첨도, 수정된 항목-전체 상관, 신뢰도(Cronbach ) 검사를 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 통한 타당도 검사 과정을 거쳐 최종적으로 학생의 교육적 성장, 교육활동, 구조, 교직원 역량, 학교풍토, 환경 등 6개 진단 영역, 28개 진단 요소, 60개의 진단 문항으로 구성된 학교조직 진단 도구를 제시하였다.
Abstract
School organizations could be effectively improved with systematic diagnosis on its current status and strategic decision-making. Considering it, this study develops and verifies the diagnosis framework for school organizations, while its method is limited to simple survey. First, this study analyzed previous works on various organizational diagnosis frameworks and school evaluation models. Then, the tentative diagnosis framework and indicators were developed by a series of expert group interviews. Content validity was tested by teachers with Ph.D., university professors and researchers, followed by an analysis on average, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, correlation coefficient, and Cronbach α. Finally, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were done to verify the diagnosis framework for school organizations consisting of 6 areas, 28 factors, and 60 questions.
