본 연구의 목적은 육군 전투복 공급체인에서 VMI(공급자 재고관리) 적용시 재고 수준과 비용변화에 따른 동적특성을 분석하여 경제적 재고관리에 기여하는 것이다. 구체적인 효과를 시스템 다이나믹스 모델을 사용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 고찰하였다. 현재 육군훈련소의 전투복 공급체인 프로세스에 대한 VMI 적용에 따른 재고량과 비용의 변화를 분석한 결과 경제적 재고관리와 비용절감을 가져올 수 있으며 소요에 효율적으로 대응할 수 있다는 결론을 도출하였다. 아직 제한적이지만 본 연구는 육군 공급체인의 경제적인 재고관리에 일조할 것이다.
Abstract
This study is for applying the VMI(Vendor Managed Inventory) to decrease the inventory level. We made system dynamics simulation models of the military combat uniform and analyzed the dynamics happened in the supply chain. One is for the traditional operation management, the other is for VMI environment. For more generalization, we grouped the products into 4 types, and measured the supply chain performances such as inventory level and operation cost. This study suggests that applying VMI to the military uniform supply chain is more useful and decrease the inventory and cost. As a result of this study, we expect VMI to be spreaded out to other areas not alone military combat uniform supply chain.
