본 연구는 중등학교의 수업과정에서 ICT 활용에 영향을 미치는 교사의 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 교사의 배경요인들간에 따라 ICT 활용 정도에 차이가 있는지, 그리고 교사의 개인적 성향들이 ICT 활용에 어떻게 영향을 미치는가를 분석하고자 하였다. 335명의 중고등학교 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 교사의 배경요인들에 관한 문항과 개인 성향으로써 테크놀로지에 대한 태도, 자기효능감, 교육철학, 변화에 대한 혁신성, 그리고 연수 경험 등을 묻는 문항과 실제로 수업과정에서 ICT 활용 정도를 묻는 문항들로 구성되었다. 배경요인별 차이를 검증하기 위해 t-검증과 ANOVA를 사용하였으며, 개인성향이 ICT 활용에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 단계적 중다회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 여교사, 중학교 교사, 짧은 경력의 교사들이 ICT 활용을 더 많이 하고 있었으며, 수학과 영어 교사가 낮은 ICT 활용 정도를 보였다. 또한, 개인성향에서 변화에 대한 혁신성과 개방적인 태도가 교실 수업과정에서 ICT 활용을 예언하는데 의미있는 변인으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate how teacher's background and teacher's personal dispositions are affecting on ICT use in classroom teaching by teachers. To achieve the purpose, 335 middle and high school teachers responded on a questionnaire to measure; 1) teachers' background variables; 2) teachers' personal dispositions such as attitude on the technology, self-efficacy, educational philosophy, innovativeness, and training, and 3) teachers' ICT use level in classroom teaching. Data were analyzed using t-test and ANOVA to examine differences in ICT use among teachers' backgrounds and using stepwise multiple regression analysis to examine the effect of teachers' personal dispositions. Results were as follows: First, there was a difference in ICT use among teachers' backgrounds. Female teachers , middle school teachers, and teachers with shorter teaching career showed high ICT use than others. Math and English teachers showed low ICT use. Second, attitudes on the technology and innovativeness among teachers' personal dispositions were significant variables to predict ICT use in classroom teaching.
