정보화 사회로의 변화와 더불어 교육에서도 정보통신기술(ICT)의 활용을 보다 적극적으로 권장하고 있다. 이러한 ICT를 활용한 교육의 활성화를 위한 정부의 노력으로 현재 초,중등 학교의 교육 정보 인프라는 높은 수준으로 구축되었다. 이와 더불어 수업에 ICT의 보다 효과적인 효과적으로 하기 위한 방안에 대한 연구는 많이 있었으나 학교에서의 ICT활용을 촉진하는 요인들에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족했다. 그나마 이러한 연구들도 단순한 실태조사에 의한 문제점 지적과 개인의 제언들이 대부분이었으며 실질적으로 혁신의 확산과 수용이라는 이론적 배경에 근거한 분석과 제언은 거의 없었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학교에서의 ICT활용교육의 확산과 실행을 증진시키기 위한 방안을 제시하기 위해서 그동안의 ICT활용의 촉진과 방해 요인들에 관한 연구들을 살펴보고 그 연구들의 결과를 혁신의 확산과 수용이론과 촉진환경요인들과의 비교를 통해 분석하였다.
Abstract
With changing to the new information technology society, education has also been urged to utilize the Information Ccmunication Technology(ICT). Thanks to the recent efforts by the a large number of schools has been equipped with advanced educational technologies. While there has been a lot of studies on how to use ICT more effectively, relatively few is the studies about the activating factors of ICT utilization. More than often than not, those studies have been conducted about the survey of current situations of ICT utilization and have never had implemented based on the theory of diffusion of innovation. As a result, the current study surveyed the previous studies about encouraging and resistance factors of ICT utilization in light of the theory of diffusion of innovation and environmental encouraging factors by Ely. Then, the efforts were made to present suggestions to encourage the utilization of ICT in schools.
