교수자의 성찰적 실천에 기반한 이러닝 수업컨설팅이 수업에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 교수자의 성찰적 실천에 기반한 이러닝 수업컨설팅이 수업에 미치는 영향을 탐색하기 위한 목적을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 교수자의 성찰적 실천에 기반한 이러닝 수업컨설팅 모형을 개발하고, 3개 교과의 교수자와 497명의 학생, 5명의 수업컨설턴트가 참여하여 이러닝 수업컨설팅을 수행하였다. 수업컨설팅은 분석, 컨설팅 및 솔루션 도출, 콘텐츠 개발 및 수업 운영, 수업컨설팅 성과 분석의 과정을 거쳐 진행되었으며, 연구 결과, 수업만족도에서 전년대비 상승(C교과, p=.05)과 하락(B교과, p=.05), 약간의 상승(A교과, p=.64)의 다양한 양상이 나타났다. 수업참여률은 세 교과 모두 전년대비(A교과 206%, B교과 83%, C교과 258%) 상승하였고, 학생 1인당 참여 횟수는 A교과(Q&A, p=.03; 게시판, p=.04; 토론방, p=.00)와 C교과(Q&A, p=.03; 게시판, p=.00)에서 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였다. 수업에 대한 인식 분석 결과, 교과내용에 대한 인식은 A교과(p=.00), B교과(p=.00), C교과(p=.00)의 세 과목 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였으며, 학습 결과에 있어 A교과는 학습목표에서 추구하는 의미중심의 reading, intensive reading과 extensive reading의 읽기전략 활용 능력이 균형있게 계발된 것으로 인식하고, B교과는 실제적인 영상편집 능력이 계발되었다고 인식하는 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, C교과의 경우는 실제 활용 능력보다는 전반적인 평생교육방법에 대한 이해도가 높아졌다고 인식하였다. 본 연구를 통해 교수자의 성찰적 실천에 기반한 이러닝 수업컨설팅은 성찰적 실천가로서 교수자의 경험이 이러닝 교수 능력을 향상시키는 효과적인 교수개발을 위하여 활용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was the investigation of effects of reflective practice based e-learning instructional consulting on teaching. In this study, e-learning instructional consulting model was developed and applied to 3 courses consist of 3 faculties, 497 students in A cyber university with 5 instructional consultants. Consulting process was included in analysis, consulting and providing solutions, e-learning contents development and implementation, result analysis. As a result, the course satisfaction was different aspects in each courses, the score of course C is increased with statistical significance(p=.05), the score of course A is increased with statistical significance(p=.64), but in case of course B, the socore is decreased with statistical significance(p=.05) compared with last semester. The course participation rate of 3 courses are increased of course A 206%., course B 83%, course C 258%. The course participation number per student was increased in course A(Q&A, p=.03; BBS, p=.04; discussion, p<.00), couse C(Q&A, p=.03; BBS, p=.00). The awareness on learning scores of all courses was increased with statistical significance(course A, p=.00; course B, p=.00; course C, p=.00). The awareness on learning outcomes was the meaning focused reading, the balancing of intensive and extensive reading in English reading strategies of course A, the practical video editing skills in course B, the overall understanding of teaching and learning strategies instead of using of teaching and learning strategies of lifelong learning in course C. In conclusion, the reflective practice based e-learning instructional consulting was the very effective faculty development tools, because the faculty's experience as a reflective practitioner for instructional improvement developed for their professional teaching skills in e-learning.
