기업 사이버교육에서의 중도탈락 원인규명 척도 개발 및 양호도 검증

지속적인 학습에 대한 욕구 증대와 더불어 언제, 어디서나, 많은 사람들이 학습할 수 있는 사이버교육은 기업 교육시장에서 양적인 성장을 이루고 있다. 그러나 그 이면에는 학습을 성공적으로 끝마치지 않고 중도탈락한 학습자들이 상당 부분 존재하고 있으며. 이로 인해 기업은 재정적인 손실을 떠안게 되었다. 따라서 중도탈락의 원인에 대한 탐구와 해결책 모색의 필요성이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기업 사이버교육의 중도탈락 원인을 규명하는 기초작업으로, 중도탈락 원인규명을 위한 객관적인 측정도구를 개발하고, 이에 대한 타당성과 아울러 적합성을 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌과 선행연구들을 분석하여 기업 사이버교육의 중도탈락 요인을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 평가문항을 구성하여 기업 사이버교육의 중도탈락 원인을 규명하기 위한 예비척도를 개발하였다. 개발된 예비척도로 기업 사이버교육 중도탈락자 226명을 대상으로 두 차례에 걸친 설문을 실시한 결과를 분석하였다. 탐색적 요인분석에서 4개 요인, 16개 문항으로 이루어진 측정도구의 구성타당도가 검증되었고, 확인적 요인분석에서 비표준적합도(NNFI, TLI)와 비교적합도(CFI) 및 개략화 오차평균(RMSEA)이 각각 .961, .973, .047로 적합도가 검증되었다. 각 요인별 Cronbach α는 .89, .73, .77, .93로 높은 문항내적일관성신뢰도를 나타내었다. 최종 확정된 기업 사이버교육의 중도탈락 척도는 1)학습자 내적특성, 2)교육과정/내용, 3)교육환경, 4)교육지속의향의 4개 요인, 16개 문항으로 구성되었다.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to develop dropout scale to make a close inquiry into the cause of dropout for employees in S corporate's cyber learning. Based on the results of a literature review, five dimensions of learners’ reasons of dropout were identified 1) learners' background values, 2) learners' internal values, 3) the courses and their contents values, 4) learning environments values and 5) learners' intention for extension study values. The study was conducted with eighteen items and administered to 226 dropout learners who could not finish the course to the end. For the construct validation of the scale, EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis) was performed with 113 participants. Only the items showing factor loading higher than .30 were adopted, so sixteen items were remained. We verified the emergence of four factors of the dropout scale. In order to analyze the fitness of the model, CFA(Confirmatory Factor Analysis) was conducted to the other 113 participants. Therefore, we confirmed the good fit with TLI(.961), CFI(.973), and RMSEA(.047). At last, for verification of reliability among items, Cronbach's coefficient alpha was used. Each factors showed high internal consistency reasonably with Cronbach's coefficient alpha 885, .732, .773, .931 respectively. The results of the study yielded 16 items for four factors: 1) learners' inner characteristics, 2) learning course and contents, 3) learning environments and 4) learners' intention for extension study.
