사회적 자본 이론에 기반한 교수설계 모형 연구

본 연구에서는 교수설계팀 내의 사회적 자본 수준이 지식창출의 질에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 교수설계 모형을 제안하고 이를 실증 분석하였다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 먼저 사회적 자본 이론을 중심으로 문헌 연구를 실시하였고, 이를 기반으로 연구 모형 및 가설을 설정하였다. 초등 예비교사 39명을 대상으로 실시한 1차 경로분석 결과, 모형 적합성 및 일부 가설의 채택 근거가 확인되었다. 이를 바탕으로 수정 모형을 구안, 재검증한 결과, 모형 적합성의 개선은 물론, 경로 가설 전부에서 통계적 유의성이 확인되었다. 수정된 모형을 바탕으로 한 연구 결과, 사회적 자본의 관계적 차원, 인지적 차원은 교수설계 결과물의 질로 조작적으로 정의된 창출된 지식의 질을 직접 설명하고 있었고, 구조적 차원은 관계적 차원을 통해, 관계적 차원은 인지적 차원을 통해 각각 간접적으로 독립변수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 첫째, 교수설계 활동에서 교수설계자 간의 사회적 상호작용에 관한 연구가 필요하다는 점, 둘째, 상호 신뢰, 감정이입, 개방성 등 관계적 차원의 사회적 자본을 설계 활동 시 활성화 시켜야 한다는 점, 셋째, 구조적 차원의 처치 전략 개발 연구의 필요성 등을 시사하였다.

Abstract

The present study investigates the effect of the social capital on the knowledge creation of instructional design teams and proposes an instructional design model. For the purpose of the study, the researcher reviewed relevant literature including knowledge management and social capital theory, established an initial theoretical model and several research hypotheses, and empirically tested the suggested hypotheses. Based on the data collected from 39 pre-service teachers, the initial model was tested and corrected. Results indicate 1) the relational dimension and the cognitive dimension of the social capital in the participant groups predicted the quality of the knowledge creation, which in this case the instructional materials developed, 2) the structural dimension predicted the quality of the knowledge creation only via the relational dimension. Based on the results, several implications were drawn. 1) more research efforts should be exerted in investigating the social capital theory for the improvement of the instructional design theory, 2) relational dimension such as mutual trust, empathy, and openness among the instructional design teams should be considered for the better performance of instructional design projects.
