기업조직 최고경영자(CEO)의 기업가정신이 조직성과에 미치는 영향 -지적 자본의 매개효과를 중심으로-

초록

본 연구는 조직의 변화와 혁신을 통해 경쟁우위를 확보하고 성과를 높이는 핵심적인 활동으로 강조되고 있는 기업가정신과 기업의 지속적인 경쟁우위를 확보하고 가치의 창출과 성과를 향상시킬 수 있는 중요한 자산으로 강조되고 있는 지적 자본을 고려하여, 기업가정신과 지적 자본 그리고 조직성과 간에 존재하는 효과와 기업가정신과 조직성과 간의 관계에 지적 자본의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 토대로 기업가정신이 지적 자본에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 지적 자본이 조직성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 관계에 대한 연구모형과 가설을 설정하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 228개 기업의 최고경영자를 대상으로 수집한 자료를 사용하여 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과, 기업가정신은 지적 자본에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 지적 자본은 조직성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지적 자본은 기업가정신과 조직성과 간의 관계에 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업가정신이 지적 자본과 관련되어 있으며, 또한 지적 자본은 조직성과와 관련되어있음을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 결과는 본 연구가 가지는 몇 가지 제한 사항에도 불구하고 연구자와 실무자 모두에게 다음과 같이 유의미한 시사점을 제시하고 있다. 먼저 연구자에게는 기업가정신과 지적 자본 그리고 조직성과 간의 관계에 있어서 지적 자본의 매개역할, 기업가정신과 지적 자본의 관련성, 지적 자본과 조직성과의 관련성에 대한 학문적 기초자료를 제시하고 있다. 그리고 실무자에게는 기업조직의 성과를 향상시키기 위해서 최고경영자는 기업가정신을 발휘하여 지적자본을 축적하고, 축적된 지적 자본을 유효하게 활용해야 한다는 경영관리 지침을 제시하고 있다

Abstract

This study considering entrepreneurship, which is as a key activity to secure a competitive advantage and enhance performance through organizational change and innovation, and the intellectual capital as an important asset that can secure a corporation's continuous competitive advantage and improve value creation and performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect that exists between entrepreneurship, intellectual capital, and organizational performance, and the mediating effect of intellectual capital on the relationship between entrepreneurship and organizational performance. For this, based on previous studies, research models and hypotheses were established on the relationship between the positive influence of entrepreneurship on intellectual capital and the positive influence of intellectual capital on organizational performance. To verify this, empirical analysis was conducted using data collected from the CEOs of 228 companies. As a result of the analysis, entrepreneurship was found to have a positive(+) effect on intellectual capital. And intellectual capital was found to have a positive(+) effect on organizational performance. Also, intellectual capital was found to have a mediating effect on the relationship between entrepreneurship and organizational performance. The results of this study show that entrepreneurship is related to intellectual capital, and intellectual capital is also related to organizational performance. These results suggest the following significant implications for both researchers and practitioners, despite some limitations of this study. First, the researcher is presented with academic basic data on the mediating role of intellectual capital in the relationship between entrepreneurship, intellectual capital, and organizational performance, the relationship between entrepreneurship and intellectual capital, and the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance. In addition, in order to improve the performance of the corporate organization, the executives are presented with business management guidelines that the CEO should accumulate intellectual capital by demonstrating entrepreneurship and effectively utilize the accumulated intellectual capital.
