디지털 시민성 교수학습모형을 적용한 고등학교 국어수업이 디지털 시민성과 학습몰입에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 고등학교 국어(언어와 매체)과 수업에 디지털 시민성 교수학습모형(이준 외, 2021)을 적용한 후 그 효과를검증하였다. 이를 위하여 경기도 소재 고등학교 2개 반을 선정한 후 실험집단(25명)에는 디지털 시민성 교수학습모형을적용하여 수업을 진행하였으며, 통제집단(26명)에는 교사주도형 수업방식으로 진행하였다. 본 연구에서 디지털 시민성교수학습모형을 적용한 수업의 효과를 검증하기 위해 사용한 측정도구는 디지털 시민성과 학습몰입이었다. 수집된양적자료는 독립표본 t검증과 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였으며, 학생이 작성한 소감의 내용도 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 디지털 시민성 교수학습모형을 적용한 수업이 고등학생의 디지털 시민성과 학습몰입 증진에 효과적인것으로 나타났다. 실험집단의 학생소감문을 분석한 결과, 디지털 시민성 교수학습모형을 적용한 수업은 학생들에게비판적 사고를 통한 디지털 사회현상 이해, 다양한 관점과 공감적 이해, 수업만족도 증진에 도움이 되었다고 하였다. 따라서 디지털 시민성 학습모형을 적용한 국어과 수업은 고등학생의 디지털 시민성 함양과 학습몰입에 효과적인변화를 주었다는 것을 알 수 있다. 추후 연구에서는 디지털 시민성 교수학습모형을 타 교과목과 다른 학교급에도적용하여 연구할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study investigated the effectiveness of the digital citizenship learning model after applying it to high school Korean(language and media) classes. In this study, digital citizenship and immersion in learning were used as variables to verify the effectiveness of the digital citizenship learning model. To this end, an experimental group (25 students) was taught based on the digital citizenship learning model, while the control group (26 students) in the traditional way. The data from the experiment were analyzed through the independent sample t-test and covariance analysis(ANCOVA). In addition, we also analyzed the reflection journals of the experimental group. The results of the study were as follows. The instruction based on the model was found to be effective in promoting digital citizenship and learning immersion in high school students. According to the analysis of the students’ comments in the experimental group, it was beneficial for students to consider various perspectives for critical and analytical thinking, empathy, and understanding social phenomena. The instruction helped learners improve their collaborative skills and critical thinking, understand the learning contents, and increase academic motivation.
