대학교육만족도 측정도구 개발과 학생특성에 따른 차이 분석 및 개선 : S대학을 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 타당한 검증과정을 통해 대학교육만족도 측정도구를 개발하고 학생특성에 따른 교육만족도차이를 분석하여 그 결과를 교육현장 개선에 활용하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 S대학교 학생 3,467명(예비조사1,666명, 본 조사 1,801명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 측정도구 개발은 내용타당도 검토 후 예비조사와 본조사를실시하고, 문항분석, 신뢰도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 교차타당도 분석, 상관분석, 측정동일성 검증, 확인적 요인분석을실시하였고 학생특성에 따른 대학교육만족도 차이는 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 대학교육만족도측정도구는 7개 요인 총 39문항으로 개발하였다. 측정도구의 신뢰도는 .967이고 확인적 요인분석 결과, RMR, RMSEA, TLI, CFI 등이 모두 양호하였고, 교차타당도와 측정동일성 검증도 적합한 수준임을 확인하였다. 둘째, 학년과 학문계열등 학생특성에 따라 대학교육만족도 요인은 차이가 있었고, 3학년과 미술계열의 만족도가 낮았다. 셋째, 고학년의만족도 제고를 위해 교육과정 개편 및 편성에 3, 4학년의 의견수렴을 제안하고, 만족도가 저조한 학문계열의 만족도제고를 위해 실습실 등 교육인프라를 우선 구축하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 대학교육만족도 활용의 시사점을논의하였다

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a university education satisfaction measurement tool through a valid verification process, to analyze differences in the satisfaction according to student characteristics, and to use the analysis results to improve university education and the affiliated educational fields. To achieve this purpose, after reviewing the content validity, the satisfaction measurement tool was developed with preliminary and main surveys. A total of 3,467 S university students participated in the survey, of which 1,666 took the preliminary survey and 1,801 took the main survey. As a valid verification process, item analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, cross validity, and measurement identity were conducted and verified. A one-way analysis of variance was performed on the satisfaction differences by student characteristics. The measurement tool was developed with a total of 39 questions based on 7 factors. The measurement reliability was .967, and RMR, RMSEA, TLI, and CFI results were all good in the confirmatory factor analysis. It was also confirmed that the cross-validation and measurement equivalence verification were at an appropriate level. The satisfaction survey result showed that the education satisfaction differed according to student college years and academic departments. Satisfaction levels of the third-year students and the art department were low. In an attempt to apply the survey results toward educational improvement, collecting third and fourth-year students’ opinions and using them to reorganize and form college curriculum was proposed. To enhance the satisfaction levels of the less satisfied academic departments, the educational infrastructure such as classrooms for practice and hybrid lectures were established
