청소년을 위한 오페라 평생교육 프로그램 운영에 관한 질적 사례 연구

본 연구의 목적은 청소년을 위한 오페라 평생교육 프로그램의 운영 과정을 탐색하고 그 속에서 드러나는 교육적 의미와 시사점을 발견하는데 있다. 이를 위해 질적 사례 연구를 설계하였다. 자료 수집 과정에서는 참여관찰과 심층면담, 문서분석을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년을 위한 오페라 평생교육 프로그램의 운영 과정을 오페라 특징을 파악하고 래포 형성하기, 오페라의 주요 내용을 공부하기, 무대를 완성하고 공연하기, 결과 정리하기의 4회기로 구분할 수 있었다. 둘째, 오페라 평생교육 프로그램의 평생교육적 시사점은 종합예술교육, 적극성 향상, 평가 개선, 전인적 발달이었고, 학습자 측면의 시사점은 정체성 확립, 자신감 증진, 잠재 능력 발견이었다. 본 연구를 통해 발견된 사례와 교육적 실천의 내용들이 우리나라 평생교육의 강화 및 발전에 이바지하기를 기대한다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study are to investigate the management process of an opera life-long educational program for youths and discover its educational meanings and implications. For these purposes, the investigator designed a qualitative case study. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings were as follows: first, the study examined the opera characteristics in the management process of an opera life-long educational program for youths and distinguished four sessions on forming rapport, studying the major content of an opera, completing the stage and performing on it, and arranging the outcomes. Secondly, the opera life-long educational program had some implications for life-long education including total arts education, increased drive, improved evaluation, and whole-person development and also for learners including identity formation, more self-confidence, and discovery of potential abilities. The content of the cases and educational practice discovered in the study will hopefully contribute to the reinforcement and development of life-long education in the nation.
