도덕과 정보윤리교육에서 정보 리터러시의 위치와 역할

본 연구에서는 정보 리터러시 개념에 대한 명확한 이해를 토대로, 그것이 정보생산자가 갖추어야 할 능력과 태도까지 다루고자 하는 적극적인 성격의 도덕과 정보윤리교육에 어떠한 방식으로 기여할 수 있는지 모색해보고자 하였다. 정보 리터러시에 대한 연구 및 최근 도덕과 정보윤리교육의 다양한 접근법들을 살펴본 후,본 연구자는 기존의 정보윤리교육에서 다루던 윤리적 이슈들과 함께, ‘정보 리터러시 교육의 구성요소’(정보요구, 정보접근, 정보평가, 정보활용, 정보생산, 정보공유) 에 따라 필요한 ‘도덕적 핵심 가치’와 ‘도덕적 기능’들을 통합하여 위계적으로 제시하는 방안을 제안하였다. 또한 도덕과 정보윤리교육 내용 체계에 정보 리터러시가보다 정합적으로 도입되기 위해서는 2015 개정 도덕과 교육과정 정보윤리영역에서제시하고 있는 도덕적 핵심 가치인 ‘배려’, 도덕적 기능인 ‘도덕적 정서능력’, ‘도덕적 의사소통능력’, ‘도덕적 대인관계능력’, ‘해악금지능력’ 등과 함께, 하위 가치․덕목으로는 ‘절제’, ‘존중’, ‘준법’, ‘협동’이, 도덕적 기능으로는 ‘도덕적 판단능력’, ‘자아정체성 확립’, ‘도덕적 습관과 의지력’이 추가되어야 함을 주장하였다.
Abstract
In this study, based on the clear understanding on the concept of the information literacy, it is intended to find out how it can contribute to the prospective information ethics education, which deals with the ability and attitude that the information producer should be equipped with. After examining the research on the information literacy and recent diverse approaches of the information ethics education, I suggest the measure to integrate the 'key moral value' and 'moral functions' required according to 'the components of information literacy education'(demand, access, evaluate, use, produce, share) hierarchically, with the ethic issues dealt in existing information ethics education. In addition, I insist that the ‘abstinance', 'respect', 'law-abidingness' and 'cooperation' as sub-virtue, 'moral judgment competency', 'establishment of self-identity' and 'moral habit and willpower' as the moral function should be added to the information ethics of 2015 revised moral education curriculum to introduce the information literacy more coherent in information ethics education.
