도덕과의 정보윤리교육에서 도덕적 정체성교육의 의미에 대한 연구

초록

정보사회의 변화가 포괄적이고 급진적일 뿐만 아니라 이러한 변화가 인간 삶을 규정하는 불가피한 특징이 되고 혜택과 부작용을 동시에 가져온다는 점에서 정보윤리와 정보윤리교육은 인간다운 삶을 영위하는데 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 현대사회에서 정보윤리와 정보윤리교육이 차지하는 중요성에 대한 인식에서 출발하여 도덕적 정체성교육을 통해 정보윤리교육을 효과적으로 실시할 수 있는 방안을 모색한다. 이를 위해서 먼저 정보윤리교육의 도덕과교육에서의 중요성과 도덕적 정체성교육의 정보윤리교육적 의의를 검토한다. 나아가서 도덕적 정체성교육을 지향하는 정보윤리교육이 어떻게 실시되어야하는지를 정보윤리교육의 목표와 내용차원에서 고찰한다. 또한 정보윤리교육에서 실시될 수 있는 도덕적 정체성교육방법을 통합적으로 접근하고, 도덕적 이해의 형성, 도덕적 자아이상에 근거한 자기반성 및 성찰, 도덕적 의지의 발달, 관계적 자아에 근거한 공감 및 애착 형성, 도덕적 모델과 실천의 경험이라는 5가지 방법적 원리를 제시한다.

Abstract

Information ethics education is expected to have a crucial role for contemporary human lives in that the development of ICT brings about comprehensive and radical changes which have both benefits and side-effects. Contemporary researches have shown that moral identity can play an important role as a medium of connecting moral thinking and judgment to moral action. The purpose of this paper is to examine information ethics education which aims at moral identity education. For this, I shall investigate the importance of information ethics education in the morals subject and the significance of moral identity education in information ethics education. And I shall analyze what are the goals and the contents of information ethics education which encourages students to establish moral identity. I, then, shall suggest the following teaching-learning strategies for moral identity education: moral understanding, self-reflection and introspection based on moral self-ideal, the development of moral will, empathy and attachment from a relational self, moral exemplars and practising experiences.
