청소년기 자존감 발달궤적이 성인 전환기 주관적 행복과 공격행동에 미치는 영향과 교육에 대한 시사점

이 연구는 한국 아동･청소년 패널자료를 사용하여 청소년기 자존감 발달궤적이 성인 전환기 주관적 행복 및 공격행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 청소년기 자존감 발달궤적이 성인 전환기 주관적 행복 및 공격행동에 미치는 영향은 2차 잠재성장모형으로 분석되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자존감의 초기 발달 수준이 높은 청소년들은 성인 전환기에 주관적 행복을 더 높게 느꼈고, 공격행동은더 적게 하였다. 둘째, 청소년기에 시간 경과에 따라 자존감이 발달해가는 청소년들은성인 전환기 주관적 행복을 더 높게 느꼈고, 공격행동은 더 적게 하였다. 자존감의 초기발달 수준과 시간 경과에 따른 발달궤적이 성인 전환기 주관적 행복과 공격행동에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과를 바탕으로 청소년기 자존감 향상을 위한 교육에 대한 정책 제언을 하였다.

Abstract

This study examined relationships between the initial level and change inself-esteem in adolescence and subjective well-being and aggression in earlyadulthood, using data from Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey. Thisstudy also is intended to provide educational policy proposals on basis of theresults of this study. Relationships among the initial level and changeself-esteem and subjective well-being and aggression were analyzed throughCurve-of-Factors Model. Results were in the followings. First, adolescentswho initial level in self-esteem were higher exhibited higher subjectivewell-being and lower aggression. Second, adolescents who change inself-esteem over time were increasing exhibited higher subjective well-beingand lower aggression. On basis of the results about relationships between initiallevel and change in self-esteem and subjective well-being and aggression,educational policy proposals for increasing self-esteem in adolescents andsuggestions for future research were discussed.
