『바가바드기타』의 철학상담 이론과 행복의의미 해석- 인도철학에서 영성 상담가로서의 크리슈나의역할 분석을 중심으로 -

인도철학에서 『바가바드기타』(이하 『기타』)는 신 크리슈나와 인간 아르주나의 문답으로 이루어진 ‘영성’ 철학을 대표하는 텍스트이다. 본고는 『기타』의 전체적인 내용을 철학상담의 시각에서 분석하고, 특히 크리슈나가 철학상담가로서 기능하는 측면에 집중해 인도철학의 주요한 주제들을 그가 활용한 상담기법으로 해석해 보는 연구이다. 대표적인 영성 상담가로 꼽히는 크리슈나는 인간적인 면모와 초인격적이고 초월적인 양면을 드러내면서 내담자 아르주나의 모든 질문에 막힘없이 해답을 던져준다. 또한 내담자 아르주나가 직면한 고통을 본질적으로 치유하기 위해 크리슈나는 다양한 인도철학 이론을 아르주나의 올바른 세계관 정립을 위해 사용하면서 이기심을 넘어선 진정한 행복의 의미를 설파한다. 그 과정에서 철학상담가 크리슈나는 내면의 신성한 인간성, 영성과 아트만의 소유자인 내담자가 그의 주체적인 자유의지를 일깨우고 능동적인 선택을 할 수 있는 기회를 부여한다. 『기타』는 크리슈나를 통해 철학상담가가 지녀야 하는 내담자와의 강력한 관계설정, 영성과 아트만의 신성함을 보여줄 수 있는 인간성, 전문 상담가로서의 독창적인 상담기법 등을 보여주고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 『기타』의 철학상담적 분석을 통해 현대사회에서 재고할 수 있는 영성의 의미, 고전텍스트 『기타』가 보여주는 행복과 치유의 가치를 재해석해 보고자 한다.
Abstract
In Indian philosophy, Bhagavad Gītā is a text that represents the spirituality philosophy that consists of the questions Krishna and Arjuna. This paper analyzes the whole contents of this document from the point of view of philosophical Counseling and concentrates on the aspect that Krishna functions as a philosophical counselor and interprets the main topics of Indian philosophy as his counseling technique. As a representative spiritual counselor, Krishna reveals both the human aspect and the superpersonal and transcendent sides, and answers all questions of her client Arjuna without any hindrance. We also examine Krishna's methodology as a philosophical counselor to cure the suffering faced by the client as the ultimate goal of true happiness. In the process, we will examine the original counseling technique and its contents that Krishna, the counselor, used to convey the concept of spirituality and Atman as human sacred humanity to the client Arjuna effectively. Through this analysis, we try to interpret the meaning of spirituality that can be reconsidered in modern society, the value of happiness and healing that hindu classical text Bhagavad Gītā shows.
