본 연구의 목적은 스키리조트 방문자의 동기를 신뢰롭게 측정할 수 있는 도구 개발을 위한 탐색적 연구이다. 42개의 스키리조트 방문동기 문항을 1162명의 남녀들에게 실시하였다. 이 문항들의 요인 기초 구조를 탐색하기 위해서 공통요인모형에 의한 주축분해법을 사용하였다. 이어 사각회전을 시켜, 사회적 과시, 유능감, 환경적 유희, 탈일상성, 대인관계 및 가족화합의 6개 요인을 추출하였다. 그리고 구조 계수와 문항-총점 상관을 고려하여, 각 방문 동기 요인별로 6개씩의 문항을 선정하여 전체 36문항의 스키리조트 방문동기 척도를 구성하였다. 스키리조트 방문동기 척도의 내적 신뢰도는 비교적 양호한 수준을 보였으며, 방문동기 요인들 간의 상관으로 인해 나타난 요인 복합성, 척도의 활용 방안 및 후속 연구에 대해서 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is a preliminary study for developing a reliable scale measuring Ski-Resort visit motives. A questionnaire of 42 items for measuring visit motives was developed based on precedent studies. Responses from 1162 participants on 42 items were factor-analysed using Principal-Axis(PAF) extraction procedure. And followed by oblique rotation, 42 items were classified into the six factors; 'Social show-off', Self-competency', 'Enjoyment', 'Escap from routine life', 'Interpersonal environment', 'Family harmony'. On the basis of factor loadings and item-total correlations, six items on each of the intended dimensions were retained(total 36 items). Cronbach's alpha coefficients of each subscale ranged from .79 to .88, which showed satisfactory internal consistency. There were significant differences of gender, age, and experience or no-experience differences in subscales of visit motives. Finally, implications, and Utilization of this study and followed study were discussed.
