여가제약, 여가제약 협상 및 레크리에이션 전문화의 관계: 스키어를 중심으로

이 연구는 스키어들의 여가제약 극복과정과 레크리에이션 전문화로 발전하는 과정에 관한 연구모형을 제시하고, 여가제약, 협상 및 레크리에이션 전문화 간의 인과관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 이 연구는 경기도와 강원도에 위치한 스키리조트에서 스키를 즐기는 18세 이상의 성인을 대상으로 하였다. 집락무선표집법을 활용하여 총 4개의 스키장에서 374명의 스키어가 이 연구에 참여하였다. 설문지의 타당도를 검증하기 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 신뢰도 검증을 위하여 Cronbach's α 값을 도출하였다. 제안모델의 적합도 검증 결과 수용 가능하였기 때문에, 여가제약, 여가제약 협상 및 레크리에이션 전문화의 관계를 분석하기에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이 변인들 간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 상관관계 분석 및 구조방정식 모델 분석을 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 여가제약은 여가제약 협상에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 여가제약은 레크리에이션 전문화에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 여가제약 협상은 레크리에이션 전문화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 스키어들의 여가제약은 여가제약 협상과정을 통하여 스키에 참여할 수 있으며 나아가, 스키에 대한 레크리에이션 전문화의 수준을 향상시킴으로써 보다 심도 있는 스키활동 참가를 통한 삶의 질을 향상 시킬 수 있다는 것을 추론할 수 있다. 이러한 연구는 레크리에이션 전문화에 대한 다양한 연구 방향과미래 여가사회를 위한 중요한 자료가 될 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide the model of the leisure constraints negotiation process for recreation specialization and to investigate the relationships between leisure constraints, leisure constraints negotiation, and recreation specialization. The subjects selected for this study were a total of 374 skiers from four ski resorts located in Kyonggi and Kangwon provinces by the cluster random sampling method. To test the validity of the instrument modified for this study, the confirmative factor analysis was employed using LISREL 8.51. Regarding the scale reliability, Cronbach's alpha was determined. A goodness-of-fit of the proposed model was acceptable to investigate the relationships among variables. The findings of the relationships among variables utilizing, correlation analysis and structural equation modeling were as follows: First, leisure constraints had negative influences on leisure constraints negotiation. Second, leisure constraints negatively affected recreation specialization, Finally, leisure constraints negotiation had positive effects on recreation specialization. According to these results, it appears that skiers could overcome their leisure constraints using negotiation strategies and participate in skiing, in turn be facilitated to improve the level of recreation specialization in skiing. Thus, they could improve the quality of life through specialized skiing activity. Based on the results of the present study, further research is needed to examine the mediation role of leisure constraints negotiation between leisure constraints and recreation specialization among skiers.
