한국 청소년비행에 관한 Hirschi 이론의 검증

초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국청소년개발원에서 조사한 전국단위의 청소년패널 자료를 활용하여 우리나라 청소년의 비행요인을 분석하고, Hirschi의 사회유대이론을 적용하여 사회유대변인이 청소년비행에 미치는 영향을 검증함으로써 청소년비행 문제에 개입하는데 유용한 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 부모와의 애착은 청소년비행과 부적인 관련성이 검증되어 연구가설이 지지되었다. 즉, 부모의 애착과 청소년비행은 부적인 관련성이 검증되어 부모와의 관계가 학교생활의 적응과 문제 및 비행과 관련이 되며, 부모의 감독수준이 높을수록 청소년비행을 예방할 것이라는 연구가설을 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 선생님에 대한 애착 및 학교에 대한 애착(성적)과 청소년비행을 검증한 결과, 선생님에 대한 애착과 청소년비행과는 부적인 관련성이 검증되었다. 지역사회애착은 폭력비행과 재산비행에서 부적인 관련성이 검증되어 연구가설에서 제시한 지역사회애착이 높을수록 청소년비행을 예방할 것이라는 가설을 부분적으로 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 학교공부에 대한 주관적인 노력정도는 부적인 관련성이 검증되어 연구가설을 지지하는 결과를 나타내었다. 수련활동과 동아리활동 참여는 가설과는 달리 청소년비행과 정적인 관련성이 검증되었다. 이러한 결과는 현재 우리나라 청소년의 생활유형을 고려할 때, 스포츠나 오락을 하면서 보내는 활동을 비행을 통제하면서 관례적 행동을 하면서 보내는 활동보다는 오히려 이러한 활동이 비행의 유발요인임을 시사한다.

Abstract

The study provides useful data intervene to juvenile to delinquency in accordance with analyzing the reasons teenagers give for their misconduct in Korea, using nation-wide teenager panel data examined at the National Youth Policy Institute, analyzing the actual status of juvenile delinquency along misconduct reasons, and verifying the influence of social relation factors on juvenile delinquency by applying Hirschi's social relation theory. A summary of the social relation factors that influence juvenile delinquency in accordance with the above research results is shown below. Within social relation factors, affection and participation showed significant influence on levels of juvenile delinquency. This result implies that a relationship between parents, teachers, schools and the local community should be strengthened for the prevention of juvenile delinquency, and it is needed to strengthensocial relationships through participation of conventional activity. To prevent or improve juvenile delinquency, the study showed that multi-systematical participation programs for parents, teachers, schools and local communities are needed rather than focusing only on teenagers.
