미국의 금융위기가 진정된 직후인 2009년부터 아일랜드에서 시작된 유럽재정위기는 그리스, 포르투갈, 스페인, 이탈리아로 점차 확산되면서 세계경제를 불안하게 만들고 있다. 유럽재정위기는 유럽과 미국 등 선진국의 경기를 먼저 침체시켜 세계무역 및 투자를 위축시킨 후, 중국 및 인도 등 신흥국 경제에까지 악영향을 미치게 된다. 본고에서는 유럽재정위기로부터 촉발된 세계적인 경기침체가 한국 물류 및 통상에 어떤영향을 주는 지 분석하고, 한국 물류/통상에 주는 시사점이 무엇인지 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 경제통화동맹을 이론적으로 고찰하고, 그 다음 유럽재정위기의 발생원인과 유로존 국가들의 비대칭적 경제력을 검토한다. 끝으로 유럽재정위기가 세계경제/신흥국경제/한국경제에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 우리에게 주는 시사점과 대응전략을 제시한다. 예를 들면, 중국이나 Next-China를 적극적으로 활용하고 유럽에서 기회를 찾는 역발상과장기적인 안목으로 미래 산업에 투자하는 전략 등이다.
Abstract
In the year of 2009 when American financial crisis concluded, European fiscal crisis began in Ireland and gradually spreaded to Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy,which makes world economy unstable. European fiscal crisis firstly stagnates advanced economies, such as Europe itself, US and etc. And the crisis withers world trade and investment, and gives bad impacts on emerging economies, such as China, India and etc. This paper aims to analyze how world economic recession evoked from European fiscal crisis influences Korean economy, and to draw implications for Korean logistics and trade. To do this, firstly the theoretical survey of economic and monetary union, secondly the reasons of European fiscal crisis and the economic disequilibria among eurozone countries were analyzed. Secondly it was also examined how European fiscal crisis influences world economy, emerging economies, and Korean economy. Finally implications and countermeasures for Korean logistics and trade were suggested. Such as aggressive exploitation of China and Next-China, looking for a good chance in Europe, and long-term investment for future industries.
