조직원의 직업윤리 실천을 위한 기업윤리시스템 구축에 관한 기초연구

초록

이 연구의 목적은 조직원의 직업윤리 실천을 위하여 기업윤리시스템 구축방안을 제안 하는데 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌고찰을 통하여 조직원의 직업윤리실천에 영향을 미치는 상황적 요인과 조직의 윤리적 분위기 그리고 최고경영자의 윤리의식이 조직원의 윤리적인 행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 이를 기초로 기업윤리시스템 구축방안을 제시하고자 한다.조직원의 직업윤리 실천에 영향을 미치는 상황적 요인으로는 결과의 중요성과 사회적 압력 등이 있고 조직의 윤리적 분위기에 있어서는 이기주의보다 선의와 원칙을 존중하는 조직 분위기가 조직원의 윤리적 행위와 밀접한 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 최고경영자가 옳은 행동기준을 가지고 좋은 목표를 성취하기 위해 노력한다면 조직원들의 윤리의식 수준 또한 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 기업윤리시스템 구성요소로는 기업의 윤리강령과 윤리준칙제정, 정기적인 윤리교육 실천 및 강조, 조직원의 윤리적 의사결정에 대한 평가 보상 시스템의 확립, 조직 내부고발제도 및 윤리감시위원회의 설치 등이 제안되었다. 기업은 효과적인 기업윤리시스템 구축 및 유지를 통한 조직원의 직업윤리실천을 바탕으로 윤리경영을 해나갈 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest a corporate ethic system to encourage the ethical work behavior of the employees. In order to accomplish the objective, an extensive review of the recent literature was conducted to define the factors which influence the ethical behavior of the employees. For ethical organization, we need to consider member’s individual morality at first, not focusing on individual ethical level but their ethical level as a member of team or organization. The environment factors such as the significance of the consequence of the immoral behavior, social pressure, ethical work climate, and the integrity capacity of the top management were identified as the major factors. The suggested corporate ethic system components to encourage the ethical behavior of the employees are as follows： (1)To declare the Code of Ethic which reflects the value and mission of the corporate and to specify the Code of Conduct to provide the guideline of the ethical behavior. (2)To provide and emphasize ethic education on a regular basis. (3)To establish an evaluation and reward system to encourage the ethical decision making and practice. (4)To establish a whistle blowing system, ethical committee and compliance office.
