직업세계의 변화와 상업계 고등학교 직업교육 개선 방안

Abstract

In this study this author attempted to explore direction for vocational education and on required measures in commercial high schools in abreast with advancement of knowledge basis and social progress in 21st century. As methodology for study it is based on study of literature and records. Chapter I is introductory part and in Chapter II addressed theoretical background and it contained detailed explanation on changes in commercial education, need for vocational education, changes in occupational world, changes in labor market and occupational world, characteristics of industries and occupations in the age of knowledge and information and changes in occupational and work environment in society based on knowledge and information. Thus it provided basis for in depth analysis in occupational and educational world in future which are covered in the following Chapter. On such logical basis in Chapter IV as measures for improvement of vocational education 5 kinds of future-oriented directions are suggested. Also on the basis of this author's viewpoint which may not be sufficient for itself comprehensive measures for improvement in vocational education are presented. In closing at conclusion part summary of study result is presented along with mentioning on characteristics in occupational world in 21st Century and occupations in future and education expected with reference to this study. This study has certain limit because it is based on reviewing and examining record and data and also certain circumscription in producing effective information in this study which stems from constraint of researching period and capability of this author as a researcher. In future more effective and efficient studies should be undertaken for vitalizing commercial education in future through carrying out more diverse researches including more systematic and in-depth empirical studies for the subject addressed in this study.
