대학의 조직특성이 균형성과표에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 대학의 조직특성이 BSC 도입시에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하여 향 후 대학에서의 BSC가 어떠한 방향으로 가야할 것인지를 제안하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 전국 13개 대학의 교수, 교직원, 조교 및 연구원을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 현재 BSC를 인식하고 있는 사항과 본 연구의 목적에서 제시한 영향도를 파악하고자 하였다. 통계적 분석방법으로는 표본에 대한 기술통계분석, 변수들에 대한 신뢰도 분석과 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 이어서 변수 간의 관련성을 알아보기 위하여 상관관계분석을 실시하고, 대학조직의 세부 조직특성이 균형성과표에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 파악하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학조직의 의사소통 정도는 BSC에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라는 [가설 1]의 검증 결과, 의사소통 요인 중 균형성과표 의지는 재무성과를 제외한 나머지 성과항목에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미쳤으며, 수직적 의사소통은 전혀 BSC에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 수평적 의사소통은 학습 및 성장성과, 내부프로세스성과에는 유의적 영향을 미치나 고객성과나 재무성과에는 유의적 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대학조직의 의사소통 중 수평적 의사소통과 수직적 의사소통은 균형성과표에 별로 영향을 미치지 않는 다는 것이며, 대학조직의 의사소통은 재무성과에는 전혀 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 대학조직의 업무표준화 정도는 BSC에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라는 [가설 2]의 검증 결과, 업무표준화 요인 중 업무통일성만이 BSC에 정(+)의 유의적 영향을 미쳤을 뿐 나머지 요인인 업무문서화, 업무투명성, 업무명확성은 거의 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 대학조직의 업무표준화 중 업무문서화, 업무투명성, 업무명확화는 BSC에 거의 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것을 의미한다.

Abstract

This study was conducted for making empirical analysis on the effects of organizational characteristics on BSC(balanced scorecard) in Korean universities. To put it concretely, We studied whether the organizational characteristics factors(communication, standardization of work) have an influence on BSC in Korean universities. In order to attain the objective of this study, I reviewed related theories and previous researches through literature review, and empirical study was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The subjects of this study were professors, staff and research center officers who were carrying out teaching and administrative services in Korean universities. Among 298 questionnaires recovered from the subjects, 11 questionnaires answered inadequately were excluded and a total of 287 questionnaires from subjects were statistically analyzed. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the will on BSC of communication factors has significant positive effects on the learning and growth performance, internal process performance, customer performance exept financial performance of BSC. But the horizontal communication factor has significant positive effects on only learning and growth performance of BSC. And the vertical communication factor has not significant positive effects on any factors of BSC. Second, the work unification of work standardization factors has significant positive effects on the internal process performance, customer performance, financial performance exept the learning and growth performance of BSC. But another factors of work standardization has not significant positive effects on any factors of BSC.
