Abstract
In this study, the sponsor attitude of consumers according to perceived effort as the individual differences variable in terms of persuasion knowledge model and the sponsors sponsorship conditions as the contingent variables has been verified. Firstly, multiple regression analysis revealed significant interaction effect with the perceived sponsor effort and each kind of contingent variables such as the size of the company(big/small), marketing investment(above average/average)and sponsored event(popular/unpopular). Secondly, interaction effect analysis was perform with perceived sponsor's effort and contingent variables according to analysis of covariance. As the results of the main effects, the higher the perceived effort showed more favorable attitude to sponsor. The analysis for interaction effect with perceived effort and marketing investment showed that higher perceived effort had more favorable attitude than lower perceived effort, when marketing investment is greater than the average. As the interaction effect between perceived effort and sponsored event, when less popular event, the higher perceived effort showed more favorable attitude than popular event. Based on these results, theoretical and practical implication are discussed.
