초록
Objectives: This systematic review aims to assess the efficacy of Yukgunja-tang (YGJT) and its modified formulations as adjunctive treatments for lung cancer. Methods: We will search 10 major databases, including MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library, for parallel-group randomized controlled trials that compared YGJT combined with anti-tumor therapy to anti-tumor therapy alone or with placebo. Studies involving other traditional East Asian treatments will be excluded. Risk of bias will be assessed with the Risk of Bias 2 tool, and certainty of evidence will be evaluated using the GRADE system. This protocol was registered on PROSPERO (CRD42024619038). Results: This review will synthesize data on the effects of YGJT on primary and secondary outcomes, including clinical symptoms, immune function, and adverse events. Conclusions: The review will provide evidence on the clinical effectiveness and safety of YGJT as an adjunctive treatment for lung cancer, contributing to future research and clinical practice.
