디지털 환경에서의 사회적 상호작용이 일상화되면서, 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 성인은 메신저와 같은 텍스트 기반 플랫폼에서 대화 상대의 숨은 의미를 이해하고 적절히 반응하는 데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 설계 기반 연구(Design-Based Research) 방법론에 따라 두 차례의 반복적 설계순환 과정을 통해, 프롬프트 엔지니어링을 중심으로 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 성인의 디지털 사회 의사소통을 지원하는 소셜 멘토 챗봇을 개발하였다. 1, 2차 사용성 평가에서 수집된 피드백을 반영하여, 실제 디지털 환경에서의 활용성과 편의성을 강화한 최종 챗봇 설계안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
As digital social interactions become more prevalent, adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often struggle with interpreting implicit meanings in text-based messages conversations. This study employed a Design-Based Research (DBR) methodology to develop and refine a ChatGPT-based social mentor chatbot that supports digital communication for adults with ASD. The development proceeded through two iterative design cycles, focusing on prompt engineering to enhance the chatbot’s contextual sensitivity and social appropriateness. Usability feedback from both cycles informed the final design, resulting in a more usable and applicable tool for real-world messenger-based interactions.
