This thesis focuses on the Chinese novels of Yan Geling published in China to have a systematic and comprehensive clarification and elaboration on their theme. The paper talks about the Yan Geling’s “New Migration Novels”. Firstly, she produces and imagines the life of migrants of several generations with the profound historical ambience as the background. Next,she probes into the strong borderline consciousness and feelings, emphasizes the concern for the human nature on the border and applies the device of psychological analysis.
