장애인체육에서 윤리문제 해결 방안으로써의 윤리강령과 윤리교육에 대한 고찰

본 연구의 목적은 장애인체육의 윤리문제와 윤리문제 해결을 위한 윤리강령과 윤리교육에 대해 논의 하는 것이다. 문헌자료와 포커스그룹 스터디를 통해 알아볼 때 대한장애인체육회에 윤리강령이 재정되어 존재하고 있으나 강령이 제 역할을 하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 장애인 체육지도자나 교사, 학생 그리고 선수가 주체가 되는 포괄적인 강령이기보다 장애인체육회 조직 내의 윤리강령 성격이 짙은 것으로 나타났다. 이에 윤리강령 내용 자체의 개정이 요구되고 이를 효과적으로 홍보하기 위한 교육과 훈련이 요구된다. 이와 더불어 윤리문제 예방책으로 교육의 역할이 가장 중요하게 나타났으나 현실에서는 윤리교육을 제공하는 대학이 체육 및 스포츠 관련학과에서는 매우 미약한 것으로 나타났고, 특수체육학과는 전무한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 장애인 학생과 선수 그리고 지도자를 보호할 수 있는 실용적이고 실천적인 윤리강령 제정과 유관기관과 대학을 중심으로 윤리교육 의무화를 제시하였다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to examine and discuss current status of ethical practice in adapted physical activity in Korea. The current study used qualitative approach to examine the issues employing literature review and focus group study. The study found that codes of ethics exist, but contents of the codes are not structured in a way to help students, athletes, or/and teachers/coaches to resolve ethical issues. The study also found lack of ethics education in adapted physical activity in Korea. So, the study suggests effective way to re-structure code of ethics and role of ethics education in adapted physical activity in Korea. This study also suggests effective ethics education in adapted physical activity such as requirement of ethics education in higher education, inclusion of ethics session in conference, seminar and inclusion of ethical issues in the newsletter.
