본 연구는 스포츠윤리의 구조화 한계를 파악하고 스포츠윤리교육의 방향을 제고하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 선행연구와 기사, 서적을 탐구하는 문헌 연구의 방법을 통해 스포츠와 윤리의 구조를 살펴보고 스포츠윤리교육이 갖고 있는 교육적 한계에 관해 탐구하였다. 스포츠윤리교육의 한계와 방향을 논의하기 위해 스포츠윤리의 구조적 한계를 스포츠와 윤리의 정합성의 시각에서 살펴보았고, 그 결과 일반윤리에서의 보편적인 윤리적 문제가 스포츠에서는 적용되지 않을 수도 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 스포츠가 가진 특수성 때문인데, 제도화된 스포츠 규칙이 가지는 임의성은 변화할 수 있다는 점과 스포츠 행위에 있어 문화적 관습에 따른 가치의 상충에서 한계를 찾을 수 있었다. 따라서 스포츠윤리의 특수성은 스포츠에 종사하는 특정 집단 및 스포츠 활동에서 일어나는 행위의 옳고 그름과 윤리문제 해결의 원리나 행위지침을 제시해주는 규범체계라는 점에서 독자성을 지니지만, 보편적인 윤리에 근거함은 부정할 수 없음을 구조적으로 확인하였다. 이후 스포츠윤리교육의 현황과 한계점에 대해 고찰하고, 스포츠윤리교육의 제고를 위한 방안으로 스포츠인의 인식개선과 교육 대상 및 시기, 교수자의 전문성 강화를 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the structural limitations of sports ethics and to improve the direction of sports ethics education. To this end, the structure of sports and ethics was examined through the method of literature research that explores existing studies, articles, and books, and the essential educational limitations of sports ethics education. In order to discuss the limitations and directions of sports ethics education, the structural limitations of sports ethics were explored from the perspective of the consistency of sports and ethics. Accordingly, as a result, it was confirmed that universal ethical issues in general ethics may not be applied in sports. This is due to the specificity of sports, and the randomness of institutionalized sports rules, which can change. Moreover, this study found that the conflict of values is according to cultural customs in sports behavior. The specificity of sports ethics is unique in that it is a normative system which provides principles or guidelines for solving ethical problems and principles of behavior occurring in specific groups and sports activities engaged in sports. However, it cannot be denied that the principle is based on universal ethics. Subsequently examined the current status and limitations of sports ethics education. Furthermore, it proposed measures to enhance sports ethics education, including improving awareness among sports professionals, expanding the scope and timing of educational interventions, and strengthening the expertise of instructors.
