서남관화의 내부적 일치성은 다른 관화 방언 중에서 가장 높지만, 서남관화는 넓은 지역 면적, 많은 인구, 역사적으로 다양한 소수민족과의 오랜 접촉 등으로 인하여 내부적으로 여러 가지 차이가 있다. 서남관화는 하위 방언 간 지역별 세부적인 차이가 존재하는데, 이러한 차이는 특히 서남관화 지역의 지형적, 역사적, 민족적 원인 등 인문지리적인 배경의 독특성에서 기인하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 양적 분석 방법을 이용한 雲南 지역 서남관화 하위 방언 분류의 선행 작업으로, 기존 연구에서 개략적으로 언급되었던 각 지역의 주요 음운 유형의 지역 분포 특징을 시각화하여 각 방언점별 음운 유형의 구체적인 지역 분포 특징을 관찰하는 것이 연구 목표이다. 본 연구는 먼저 서남관화의 지역 구분과 분류에 대한 주요 선행 연구에 대해 고찰하고, 서남관화 雲南 방언의 하위 분류 특징에 대해 비교 분석하여 기존 연구의 문제점에 대해 지적한다. 또한, 기존 연구의 국한점을 보완하기 위해 雲南省 전역에 분포하고 있는 126개 방언점을 대상으로, 주요 음운 유형의 지리적 분포 특징을 구체적으로 관찰한다.
Abstract
Despite having the highest internal consistency among Mandarin dialects, Southwestern Guanhua displays considerable internal disparities. These can be attributed to its vast geographic expanse, large population, and prolonged interactions with diverse ethnic minorities. Notably, there are intricate regional distinctions among the sub-dialects of Southwestern Guanhua. Such distinctions stem from the unique anthropogeographical contexts—including geographical, historical, and ethnic factors—of the Southwestern Guanhua region. This research aims to classify the sub-dialects of Southwestern Guanhua in the Yunnan region and delve into the regional distribution patterns and historical underpinnings of predominant phonological types within these dialects. The study begins by evaluating key prior research on the regional classification and typology of Southwestern Guanhua. It pinpoints the gaps in the current literature through a comparative analysis of the subclassification traits of both Southwestern Guanhua and Yunnan dialects. Building upon these findings, this research presents an in-depth examination of the geographic distribution features of major phonological types, addressing the shortcomings of prior studies.
