장애인스포츠의 주요 관점과 가치 논제에 대한 고찰

본 글의 목적은 장애인스포츠와 관련된 주요 관점들을 살펴보고, 그러한 관점들에 기초하여 장애인스포츠와관련된 주요 논제들을 비판적으로 창출해내어 장애인스포츠의 나아가야 할 방안을 모색하는 것이었다. 주요관점들에 대한 고찰에서 우선적으로 다양한 장애 모델들을 검토하였다. 주요하게 활용되고 있는 사회모델이나인권모델에서 주로 파생된 임파워먼트 원리, 용어에 대한 정의, 의학적 접근과 교육적 접근의 차이점, 적응이론, 장애인스포츠의 경제와 사회적 근거, 그리고 장애인스포츠의 확대와 인권의 도구로서 분류체계를 분석하였다. 장애인스포츠의 논제들은 장애인스포츠의 참여대상에 관한 논제, 서비스 제공의 형태에 관한 논제, 행정에 관한 논제, 대중매체와 스포츠마케팅과 관련된 논제, 그리고 약물규제와 관련된 논제들이 논의 되었으며,각각에 대한 논의 가능한 논제들을 개발하였다. 이러한 논제들을 중심으로 연구와 논의가 진행될 필요성이 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this article was to critically review the disability theories and the contemporary dominant perspectives related to disability sports and to generate the values issues for the further research and discussion. The following perspectives were discussed: (a) disability models, (b) empowerment theory, (c)medical and educational models, (d) adaptation theory, (e) the economical and social values of disability sports,(f) the classification system for promoting the human right. The value issues discussed in the paper included the issues related to the service target population, the type of the service, administration, mess media and sport marketing, and the doping in disability sports. Based on the reviewed disability model, the further perspectives and trends were speculated.
