Abstract

This paper is aimed at inter󰌀Korean economic cooperation when the nuclear negotiations between North Korea and the US are concluded smoothly and the denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula is realized and the peace regime is established. The purpose of this article is to summarize the conditions and circumstances of the so-called new inter-Korean economic cooperation era when the optimistic scenarios are realized, and to present future tasks. If the North Korea nuclear issue is solved at last even after experiencing many twists and turns, if the final goal such as denuclearization of North Korea, peace regime on the Korean peninsula, diplomatic relations with North America is achieved, it means a revolutionary change of inter- Korean economic cooperation. The inter-Korean economic cooperation will develop enormously both quantitatively and qualitatively. It will also be enough to set the stage for the Korean economy to escape from the low growth rate. In order to realize the potential of the new inter-Korean economic cooperation era, it is necessary to have a detailed strategy and step-by-step action. Above all, it is necessary to establish a new strategy on how to cooperate and compete with public / private funds abroad, including neighboring countries. In addition to being the same people, we need to show how we can actually contribute to the growth of the North Korean economy and how the two Koreas can co-prosper. But this is the way we have not gone. It is a way we have not even imagined. It may not be easy to draw consensus within our society.
