인터랙티브 미디어 아트 제작자와 관객의 관계 권력 - 푸코의 권력이론을 중심으로

Abstract

In traditional art, audience is merely a receiver who is assigned to message, thinking and world view of producers. However, in opened structured interactive media art, they acquired some powers and positions of producers by spontaneous participation and also alternatively selecting multiple interface which are planned by producers. This paper is intended to illuminate producer’s influences upon audience and art work forming procedure from audience using Foucault’s concept of power when producers and audience are well harmonized by their interaction in phenomenological place of art works and they complete art works. Therefore, this paper clarifies that the power of producer is to assign training of body and uncertain message to audience and related power is a controlled power through gazing and manipulation to create structure of art works and also selected power through alternative selection. In addition, this study observed that coexisting power sharing is widely distributed establishing multiple entities and it is a little similar to aspect of modern society whose power is shared via network playing creative role.
