Abstract

This study is meaningful in dealing with the meaning of pictorial expressions that visualize personal memories that the researcher has through the process of illness and healing. The researcher’s work to shape the organic processes of creation, extinction, recovery, and regeneration of life is closely related to ‘planticity’, ‘physicality’, and ‘femininity’. The shapes of plants and bodies in the researcher's work are based on direct experiences, and the multi-layered life of the researcher's body and mind in the process of illness and healing are expressed in the paintings. The researcher's superimposed paintings visualize the accumulated layers and traces of generation and recovery within the interaction that restores the power of life. To this end, the shape of the plant, growth and division, proliferation, and the laws of life were expressed and visualized by the researcher in the abstract form. The purpose of this study is to track trajectories where the process of deviation and regression intersect and to present an open framework in which hybrid elements interact with each other. As for the research method, the emphasis is on analyzing the continuity of formative language in each work and the researcher composed a non-objective screen in which semi-abstract and figuration are mixed based on the existence as a living being. And we want to analyze the vitality of the body and the mind to interact within an organic relationship and create a living existence. Through revealing the inner traces of generation, extinction, recovery, and regeneration, in conclusion, we intend to seek the overlapping layers of consciousness and unconsciousness that make up the identity of the researcher. Aesthetic experiments on the screen are autonomous creative activities that are based on the specific experiences perceived by the researcher's personal experience, and the concurrent process of creating a formative horizon by embracing the multiple layers of life.
